Registration for the 26th World Mining Congress 2023 is now open. Please read the registration information carefully before beginning the online registration.

How to Register

Registration can be submitted by completing the on-line form.

Registration fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). To view the prices in your own currency, please use the currency convertor on the right hand side of the page.

Presenting Author Member

A Presenting Author Member is the oral or poster presenter of the accepted abstract and is a current member of one of the Professional Associations listed below.

Presenting Author Non-Member

A Presenting Author Non-Member is the oral or poster presenter of the accepted abstract but is not a member of one of the Professional Associations listed below.

Please note whilst registration of all speakers must be submitted by 1 September 2022, full paper submissions are not due until 30 September 2022. Posters will be required thereafter; however, separate communications will be sent directly to the accepted author.

Presenter registration rates apply only to the presenting author of the paper, limited to one presenter. It does not extend to co-authors on the paper.

Definitions

Member Registration

A member is a delegate who is a current member of the following Professional Associations.

To register as a Member via the online registration form.

  1. Complete your details as requested
  2. Select the Member Rate
  3. Indicate the Professional Association to which you belong and enter your Membership number
  4. Complete your details

Non Member Registration

A non-member is defined as a delegate attending WMC 2023 who is neither a member of the defined Professional Association nor a full-time student.

Student Registration

Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate and will be required to upload a copy of their student identification.

To register as a Student via the online form

  1. Complete your details as requested
  2. Select the Student Rate
  3. Upload a copy of your student identification
  4. Complete your details

Accompanying Person

An Accompanying Person is defined as the partner of a Full Registered Delegate – either Member or Non-Member. The primary registered delegate must register their accompanying person either at the time of registration or via the Congress Secretariat at a later date. The Accompany Person cannot be registered independently.

Important Dates and Information

Registration cancellation deadline: Friday 28 April 2023

Failure to obtain the appropriate visa to travel to Australia does not constitute eligibility for a refund

Congress Postponement

In the event of a postponement all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Congress dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings and social function tickets will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Congress Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund, which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

Congress Cancellation

In the event of the cancellation of the Congress, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
